Sword for Hire
FOR BEST EXPERIENCE, USE GOOGLE CHROME
You are the shiniest new sword at the equipment rental shop. Each time a customer rents you for a battle you'll need to customize your enchantments to best suit them and the opponent they will be fighting.
Mouse over enchantment glyphs to see what effects they have and then drag the ones you want to use onto your sword slots.
Check out the abilities of your customer on the left and the opponent to the right to try to optimize your build to harmonize with them.
When you're ready, start the fight and watch how it plays out. If you win you'll receive a soul to spend in the shop on new enchantments. You'll also steal one random enchantment from the opponent.
As you gather enchantments you'll end up with more than you can use in any one battle but you can store them in your inventory for future use. As you gain prowess you'll be able to carry more enchantments with you.
Reach 10 victories to ascend to Swordhalla or risk being relegated to rusting in the back shed.
Tips:
- Press M to mute the music.
- POWER is a stat that increases ALL damage
- HASTE is a stat that decreases ALL cooldowns
- Dont like any upgrades in the shop? Save the souls for next round, the shop refreshes every time and you keep your souls
If the game freezes up loading into a new round, its due to an asset loading bug. unfortunately you will have to refresh the page and begin a new run.
Also the audio might be buggy on first loading into the game. Unfortunately, just another asset loading bug, it does resolve itself in under a minute.

Fantastic game y'all! I love auto battlers and enjoy the customization of building up your sword! Reminds me a bit of backpack battles
Thanks! Backpack Battles was absolutely one of our main inspirations.
Nice to see your new game. Hope to get free time soon.
We're still grinding on the jam release. It'll be "finished" in a few hours.
